  • Don’t feel like trudging around Annapolis on foot? No problem! Discover this beautiful city aboard an eCruiser with a local guide. This Annapolis and Eastport tasting tour introduces you to the people, places, and food that make up the city’s unique maritime culture.

We cross the bridge into Eastport, an annex of Annapolis, whose existence was and still is critical to the growth and prosperity of Annapolis. Learn about the sibling rivalry that exists between these two sister communities, and see iconic spots rarely seen by most visitors. Locals know how important these sites were to Annapolis and American history, and you get to hear the intriguing stories behind them.

But this isn’t a history crawl, it’s a seafood crawl! Which means, as we discover this historic American town, we’re also snacking on some of the tastiest treats to come out of the bay. On this Annapolis food tour, dig into a mix of seafood and locally sourced produce, all inspired by the Chesapeake Bay – truly local foods with local flair. The tasting menu varies from tour to tour, but expect to find a variety of delicacies — your menu could include crab, oysters, clams, mussels, and/or rockfish. We stop at different locations both in Eastport and historic Annapolis.

Each of our eCruisers accommodates the driver and up to five passengers, making this a fun and unique opportunity where you feel like you’re part of a private, customized tour. You won’t find any other seafood tour of Annapolis where you can take in so much in one outing!

  • Mrs. Diana Y. from USA traveled on 13 Aug 2017:

Griffin was excellent, full of facts and very engaging. While we had good sized portions from 3 restaurants,I would had preferred smaller tastings from more restaurants

Ms. Muge Y. from Australia traveled on 09 Aug 2017:

This was one of the best tours I have been to. The tour guide, the food, everything was excellent! Not having to walk gives you the opportunity to learn about and see more places you would normally see in any walking tour. They were also really nice and helpful with the booking, even brought an extra buggy and guide for only two of us when the tour was sold out for the day! Thank you big time for everything and an excellent service and tour!

Mr. Al G. from Australia traveled on 13 Jun 2017:

Griffin was a great guide, friendly and , knowledgeable. Would recommend him highly.

Mr. Michael C. from USA traveled on 01 Feb 2017:

Tour guide Griffin was great and personab. Tour advertises 4 seafood samples but only provided 3.

Ms. Lisa C. from USA traveled on 23 Jan 2017:

It was a fantastic tour! Informative, entertaining, and delicious. A perfect way to experience the charms of Annapolis!

Mr. Cheryl A. from Canada traveled on 23 Nov 2016:

Highly recommend this small group tour (maximum of 6 + guide). We had the opportunity to enjoy crab cake pretzels (delicious crab cake with toasted cheese topping on a fresh baked pretzel toast), fried oysters and crab soup (chock full of crab pieces) picked up at three local restaurants. Because it was a beautiful fall day, rather than eat at the restaurants, George our excellent guide, took us to different waterfront locations for picnic style meals all the while continuing to tell us the history and lore of the city. He took us to a hidden away spot so we could get an elevated overview all the way across to the eastern shore plus many quaint neighborhoods in both Annapolis proper and Eastport. Definitely put it on your “to-see” list!

Mr. Robert B. from USA traveled on 25 Sep 2016:

I really enjoyed the Annapolis seafood crawl with George as a guide. He is a wealth of historical knowledge and he’s knows all the out-of the-way places to get some amazing seafood. What surprised me about the tour is the amount of food you get. I thought it would be just a couple bites, but it was enough that I skipped dinner the evening of the tour. I definitely recommend it.

Mrs. Pareen K. from USA traveled on 03 Jan 2016:

The tour was fun and informative and our guide was very knowledgable. Our only suggestion is that there be more opportunities to stop and take pictures as we spent a majority of the time sitting inside the car (probably because it was cold outside).

Mrs. Pam B. from Austria traveled on 17 Sep 2015:

We had a wonderful full 2 hour tour with John while staying in Annapolis. He was great! Very knowledgeable, and just a delight to be with during the tour. Urban Adventures tours are really a good deal too. Being able to enjoy the town you are touring in with a “private” Tour Guide is a super experience! Thanks John!!

Mr. Todd A. from USA traveled on 16 Jan 2013:

Don’t miss a tour of Annapolis with George! He has deep knowledge and love of the area as shown by his answers to questions, which he encouraged. His answers always included fascinating anecdotes and the larger perspective. It was well-paced too.
