  • Take a ton of American history, add a dash of East Coast charm, then mix in a few secrets, and you’ve got lovely Annapolis! One of the oldest cities in America, Annapolis is bursting with original colonial buildings and deep-rooted stories of the nation’s heritage. Your local guide tells you the city’s history and shows you its hidden gems, as you learn about the importance of this seaport town in the building of America.

Learn why the beloved Chesapeake Bay was so critical to America’s growth and why it needs to be preserved for the country’s future. Stop for a panoramic view of local waterways and get a sense of the area’s geography, and find out how this city helped to shape the country’s identity. Annapolis was a temporary capital of the United States before the capital was in Washington, DC, and the city is home to the United States Naval Academy, as well as four signers of the Declaration of Independence — their original homes are still standing today.

Discover why Annapolis’ beautiful harbor wasn’t so pretty once, even though it was impactful, and hear other lesser known stories of American history. Your mind will be swirling with tales!

Our fun and unique all-electric vehicles whisk you around town and in and out of streets and neighborhoods you’d never otherwise see. Each eCruiser can accommodate up to five guests so it’s like having your own private tour of Annapolis, MD — actually, that’s what it is! Multiple vehicles are available as needed. Join us, won’t you?

Griffin was the Best! He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun! We took the tour on our first day in town and it set us up for the rest of our visit to further explore the City of Annapolis, as it gave us a good base of knowledge of the history and layout of the City. We initially had trouble booking our time on the website, and eventually had to get the phone number for Urban Adventures from the Hotel to book our tour. Once we made the call, it was a great experience, but prior to that, I had to diddle around on the website and wait for return emails for several days, and in the end, they sent me an email saying they were unable to help me. I’m really glad that I persisted, but almost gave up due to the website issues.

We took one tour with John. He was so incredibly knowledgeable (2 degrees in History if I remember correctly) and friendly on our tour of Annapolis. We loved every minute we spent learning with John and had we had more time we would have booked an additional tour with him. He is an absolute gem!!! They just don’t make folks like John anymore!
